Griekspoor Linear Positioning Measure (LPM) explained
This video demonstrates how the Griekspoor Linear Positioning Measure (LPM) works: a sensor detects the difference in the rod profile underneath the coating and conveys this information to a counter. The counter displays the current position of the rod. The sensor can also be connected to a PLC. LPM is similar to CIMS, however the sensors are less costly and the sensor is easier to mount and fit.
There are no limits to the length in which the LPM system can be applied, and the system works with all Griekspoor coatings as long as the base material of the rod is ferromagnetic.
