Introduction

 

Griekspoor Thermal Coatings (GTC) is an international company specialized in the application and finishing of coatings for the hydraulic industry, particularly piston rods. All Griekspoor coatings are marketed under the trade name TOPCOAT®. All TOPCOAT® coatings meet the demands of the latest version of the NBD 10300, the coating specification for (ceramic) coatings developed and still used by the Dutch department of waterways.

"Thermal coatings" are 'hard' coatings. These coatings are thermally applied: with the use of an energy source the coating material is applied to the product. GTC uses plasma, HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel), and laser as an energy source. This results in a hard coating, excellently wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, that is finished to the specified fit and roughness. Griekspoor Thermal Coatings coats products up to a length of 23 meters, a diameter of 1 meter, and a weight of 20 tonnes.

Larger products are possible in consultation.

GTC feels that every customer should get the best value for money. This is not limited to the product alone. We support our customers when needed, for instance with help from our own laboratory.
