TOPCOAT 107 is the economic alternative for nickel chrome plating.
Learn moreDownload data sheetEven though the costs of both alloys are similar, the corrosion resistance and wear resistance for TOPCOAT 107 are significantly better than for nickel chrome.
The clever composition and the careful coating process of TOPCOAT 107 make sure that it is free of chromium (VI), i.e. hexavalent chrome, minimizing health risks for people and planet.
Griekspoor Thermal Coatings based this coating on an in-house developed nickel/carbide-alloy. TOPCOAT 107 combines the hardness of carbides with the flexibility, surface roughness, and toughness of nickel. The result is a distinctly durable coating with long lasting corrosion resistance and excellent wear resistance when exposed to erosion, friction, or cavitation.
The coatings sprayed with HVOF are characterized by a low porosity and a high bonding strength.
